So, after hearing the remix for "Ascend," I knew I was onto something special, and started the quest into finding other transformations that fit the theme. I immediately thought of the instrumental break that came from the 15-minute version of the Donna Summer classic "Love To Love You, Baby" - and another epic was born. Since the break was quite long, I decided to edit it down, trimming the 3:30 break to just over 2 minutes, and stretching the remix to well over 23 minutes long. This track, therefore, becomes the centerpiece of the album, and its epic length, while daunting, makes for a wild listen - at times haunting and thrilling. This mostly reminds me of the beautiful work done by Angelo Badalamenti for David Lynch.
I dedicate this to the late, great Donna Summer.
